"When I'm Sixty-Four"

"You'll be be older too."

As time, unavoidably, progresses, everyone seems to lock on to an idea that is a must-have, a real spitting shoe-shine of an idea everyone can't live without. Well, no doubt there is a few good ideas out there just waiting to be snagged. Unfortunately, many people like to take regurgitated ideas, wrap them in a pretty bow, and expedite them so the person who receives it FEELS all sweet and important. Socialism, communism, environmentalism, or mere sociology are examples of ideas that seem to have been morphed into semi-legitimate theories or to the latter example, social science.

My job in trying to relate this to a Beatles song is that by the time these ideas are negligible and used as an attempt by a devil's advocate to either be a smart-ass, or his attempt to foster some thought to strengthen the resolve of the opposing arguments, I am going to be well over the ripe age of sixty-four – or maybe not.

The most dynamic field of study responsible for the real change, which will lead to the break-down of anti-life ideas is economics. Now I know what you might be thinking. I may be biased, but it's a god-given fact (can't really argue with that). And when I mention god, I mean it in a poetic way. At least, as poetic an aspiring economist can be. I don't think I can exaggerate enough when I say I am a self-proclaimed know-it-all. So I want to impart what little I know to maybe spark some interest in such an important area of life.

When you're older I want you to be free, and I really mean that. Or at least I think I want you free to the extent that you are not a serial rapist or dutch.
